Mitchell and area has been near and dear to my heart for many, many years. Living now in the heart of Mitchell I must say that it has been a real blessing getting to know my neighbours and the community as a whole.

Originally from Listowel, I grew up on a farm on the second concession of Elma Township.

In 1984, following graduation from Highschool, I auditioned and was accepted to join a singing group from Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was during that time that I felt the call to full-time Christian service.

After graduating from New Brunswick Bible Institute, I accepted

a call from Palmerston Missionary Church was an associate pastor there for four years. In 1990 during my second year in Palmerston I was ordained by the Missionary Church of Canada.

In 1993, I accepted an invitation by Elgin Missionary Church in Stratford to join the staff there as an associate in charge of Christian Education and Youth.

My wife and I were married in 1990 and our son Michael was born in 1992. Our daughter Alyssa was born in 1997 and our youngest daughter Ava was born in 2006.

I look forward to many more years of fruitful ministry among our many friends in the West Perth area and I trust you also will find as I have, that you will feel welcome and that you matter. Upper Thames Missionary Church is a warm home for your heart.
