I Saw The Sign: Part 6
This week we will be looking at some shorter passages that tell at first glance a very simple story. Jesus is followed by two blind men who call out to him (what they say is important). They follow Jesus into the place he was going and Jesus asks them a simple question, they respond and are healed. Though this may seem like a small occurrence, after all this is not Jesus first or last miracle but there are some key things in this story that we can discuss and learn from as modern Christ followers. We will be looking at three words of phrases that are in this story, the first being Mercy, whey do these men call for mercy to the “son of David” they don’t even use Jesus name. We want to look at faith as Jesus says to these men because of their faith they will be healed, lastly then we will look at Jesus the Messiah which I believe this miracle story points amazingly to, that Jesus is our messiah and Lord, he is the promised messiah and he is Lord.
