Getting Our Bearings
Series: Stewardship
This week Pastor Ralph shared with us the first part of a six week series titled Stewardship. When the church speaks about stewardship people usually think just about the money side. But this week Pastor Ralph shared that who we are and what we do should be in response to what God has done for us. That being a good steward is worshiping God. We need to be transformed by him and not conform to the world.

God will use disappointments to help shape us and grow us. But the devil will use disappointments to hurt us and keep us from growing closer to God. Forgive? Forget it!!!
    Series: Landmines
This week Pastor Ralph shared with us about the landmine unforgiveness. He shared with us a story from his life where he had the choice to forgive or to hold on to that anger. Unforgiveness will destroy your life if you let it have control of your life. He shared that forgiving doesn't mean the pain goes away or that you forget it. It means that you are letting God heal and lead you through the pain.

This week Pastor Ralph shared with us about the landmine of insecurity. Insecurity causes us to doubt the plan that God has for us. People who are insecure tend to say “Who me? I couldn’t do that.” They miss what they are called to do because of fear. Pastor Ralph encourages us to seek God and read the bible. To live the life that he has made for us.

    A Tale of Two Kings

This week Pastor Nate shared about how Nathan the prophet was told by God to go talk to King David about some sin that was in his life. Pastor Nate showed us that with God`s strength and leading sometimes we are to go to people, no matter how uncomfortable and show them the sin in their lives. Like Nathan with King David we need to remember to be in prayer, listening to God, be tactful and talk to people who are wise before going to someone to tell them their sin. We are then to be like King David who confessed and repented from his sin.
