Knowing the Scoop
Series: DEEPER

This week Pastor Ralph started the new series called DEEPER. He talked about how we need to know the Bible. Hearing it once a week on a Sunday isn't enough. What your parents taught you about the Bible might have been very good. But if you aren't reading and learning for yourself, how will you ever stand firm when the trials come?

    Becoming a World-Class Christian
This Week Pastor Ralph shared with us on what it means to be a world-class Christian. The difference between a world-class Christian and a worldly Christian is why you do what you do. Are you serving to put on a show or are you seeing a need and  being led by God to help? Do you post bible verses that are inspirational but aren't taking the time to really study the word? A world-class Christian is someone who is led by God in every moment of the day.

    Light Up The World
This week Pastor Nate shared with us about light. He shared that we all can experience three kinds of light. Not the kind of light that comes on when you turn on the light switch but the light that can only come from God. Those moments when you see your sin and you have the choice to let God heal and change you or the choice to run away.

    Its Time
This week Pastor Ralph shared with us about how Christmas is more than just opening gifts and spending time with family. The presents we get on Christmas will most likely be broken or forgotten by next year. Christmas is about God sending us his son Jesus, to give us the everlasting gift of salvation. Jesus came at the right place and the right time. The gift he brought is free to everyone.

    Affluence, Attitudes & Action
    Series: Stewardship
This week Pastor Ralph talked about how we should view money. He shared that being poor doesn't make you more Godly or a better person. It's not about what you have or don't have, but it is about worshiping a God who gives all things. The bible tells the rich to be generous with their money. The love of money is what is evil. So whether you are rich or poor, we all need to be aware of our attitude towards money.

This week Pastor Nate shared with us two main thoughts, who we are in relation to God and who we are in relation to Creation. He shared that how we view God and what he has done reflects on how we treat Creation. We weren't meant to just consume but we were made to give and create. We are made in his image.

But this week Pastor Ralph shared that who we are and what we do should be in response to what God has done for us. That being a good steward is worshiping God. We need to be transformed by him and not conform to the world.

    Forgive? Forget it!!!
    Series: Landmines
This week Pastor Ralph shared with us about the landmine unforgiveness. He shared with us a story from his life where he had the choice to forgive or to hold on to that anger. Unforgiveness will destroy your life if you let it have control of your life. He shared that forgiving doesn't mean the pain goes away or that you forget it. It means that you are letting God heal and lead you through the pain.
