Pastor Ralph encourages us to seek God and read the bible. To live the life that he has made for us.

Aug 2, 2015A Tale of Two KingsPosted by Pastor Nate Schultz
This week Pastor Nate shared about how Nathan the prophet was told by God to go talk to King David about some sin that was in his life. Pastor Nate showed us that with God`s strength and leading sometimes we are to go to people, no matter how uncomfortable and show them the sin in their lives. Like Nathan with King David we need to remember to be in prayer, listening to God, be tactful and talk to people who are wise before going to someone to tell them their sin. We are then to be like King David who confessed and repented from his sin.

This week Pastor Ralph shared with us about having joy despite not always being happy. He shared with us that joy is supernatural but happiness can fleeting and self-fulfilling. God wants us to become more godly and live the life that he has planned out for us. He doesn’t want us to just sit around doing nothing but he wants us to be learning, growing and searching for him. We need to have devotion in the times of waiting.

This week Pastor Nate shared with us the purpose in waiting. Are you currently waiting for God to answer your prayers? This is usually the case, Pastor Nate challenged us to look at what we are doing when we are waiting? Are we reading the Bible? Are we taking time to hear from God? Maybe God isn’t being silent but he is asking you to listen and you already know the answer. Pastor Nate encouraged us to draw closer to God and to be active in the activities he is asking us to do. Waiting will get you what you need if you are waiting and leaning on God. Not waiting for an object or thing that you want or that you think you need.
